# Kuro

> Your game servers, on your machines. An open source panel to deploy and run Minecraft, Terraria, ARK and many more across a fleet of nodes.

> **[Install Kuro](https://docs.kuroctl.com/en/install-api.md)**
>
> The API and panel in one command, on a fresh server or one you already set up.

> **[How it works](https://docs.kuroctl.com/en/how-it-works.md)**
>
> Control and game traffic: two paths that never cross.

## Why Kuro

> **One API, many nodes**
>
> The API drives your machines; on each one, a daemon runs Docker. The daemon opens its own
> encrypted connection to the API and exposes no admin interface.

> **A prefab for every game**
>
> A server is deployed from a prefab (image, settings, files, install, backup). Write your own
> in the Studio, try them on a test node, upgrade your servers to the new version.

> **Secure by default**
>
> TLS everywhere, mTLS between the API and nodes, non-root and limited containers, fine-grained
> permissions and a chained audit log.

> **What you need, nothing more**
>
> Live console, files, backups, schedules, mods, quotas. A DNS name per server and an MCP
> server for AI, if you want them.

**3. Deploy a server**

In the panel: **Servers › New server**.
