Where to read logs

The panel also keeps an audit log: Settings › Audit log.

A node stays offline

  • From the node, the API’s daemon port must answer: nc -vz panel.example.com 8443.
  • The name given to --api must be the one given to --public-host when installing the API (the certificate carries it).
  • A revoked node does not reconnect: issue a new token and re-enroll it.

Players cannot connect

The server runs in the panel, but nobody can join: game traffic does not reach the node.
  1. Is the server’s port open in the node’s firewall (TCP and UDP depending on the game)?
  2. The node is behind a home router: is the port range forwarded to it?
  3. Test from outside (a phone on mobile data, an online port checker): from the local network, many routers cannot loop back to their own public IP.

The DNS name does not resolve

  • Settings › DNS lists each record with its status and last error.
  • Is the node’s public address filled in? Without it, the node’s name does not exist and server names lead nowhere.
  • The SRV record only exists if the server’s prefab declares it (Minecraft Java: prefab version 1.2.0 or later).
